Melaka : Day 1

.

Hi, we have safely arrived Melaka yesterday at 4 pm. Meh nak cerita sikit ikut subtopic2 ni ye supaya anda tidak confuse and anda boleh lah skip mana2 sub topic yang bosan hehehe.

Otw to Melaka

• Bertolah jam 12 sebab hujan. Tunggu hujan abis baru gerak.

• We stopped over at Nilai untuk round2 tengok tempat kerja hubby dulu2 kala lepas dia grad. Hmm kasi can la dia nak mengimbas memori kan.

• We had lunch at badar lama Nilai, dulu situ ada jual nasi beriyani sedap tau, seems that they r not selling any now. So just makan apa ada, I had maggi goreng and hubby makan nasi goreng.

• We also stopped over at Seremban, round2 tengok skolah lama ku dulu situ ;) and round bandar mengimbau nostalgia.

Tempat penginapan di Melaka

I chose Holiday Inn Melaka sebab nak belanja husband sempena birthday dia esok (belanja guna duit dia, boleh?). So bilik full, yang available (and paling murah) is the room with 2 twin bed. Hentam je la janji boleh rehat and comfortable. Compared to other hotel in Melaka, hotel ni lah paling semenggah and baru.

For me this hotel was a great choice for our trip to Melaka. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with directions (kami sesat masa nak datang sini). Just to share ye, the rate we have to pay is RM265++ for one night.

We did not experience the hotel food since there were sooo many interesting and yummy choices in Melaka. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Bilik kami mengadap city, yang mengadap selat Melaka dah habis. There is a hotel shuttle bus but we did not use it as it is only a short & interesting walk into town. Baik kami drive je.

Tea-break

Since aku dah lama sangat dalam kereta so kaki cramp tetiba. So for minum petang, hubby beli putu piring yang sangat sedap dan gebu di Melaka ni. He bought it at Ujong Pasir. Dia kata putu piring ni memang asal Melaka. Tipu dia tipu la aku.

Dinner

We had our dinner at Pernu, dekat2 la tu dengan Umbai. We have been here before, rasanya tempat ni kurang popular berbanding Umbai tapi rasanya sini lagi sedap tastenya. Ke aku je kata macam tu heheh?

To those who never been to Ikan Bakar Melaka (ada ke? ke semua dah biasa dah bak tempat main guli gitu), this place is actually out of the Melaka town already and it is on the way to Muar. There are many stalls here and me and hubby chose the one facing the sea and also the most crowded. Crowded2 biasanya sedap kan?

Servis cepat je and price adalah reasonable. We ordered ikan jenahak bakar, ketam sweet and sour sauce, fried sotong and grilled prawns. All this total up to only RM 77 for 2 person. Licin ye kawan2, membazir itu amalan syaiton bak kata hubby.

Closing

So that's about it on day 1. Day 2 akan muncul nanti, maybe anda akan muak tgk muka aku banyak sangat nanti heheh. Bubaiiiii.
